Job Details
The role of group internal controls and compliance manager is to maintain and develop the quality of the internal control environment across the group.

Description
- Developing and maintaining the Group's Internal Control PolicyDeveloping and maintaining the Group's Internal controls manual
- Engagement with Glory Regional Country Finance Controllers/Managers to ensure that adequate controls are in place and deviations clearly agreed and documented
- Manage the remediation of identified control deficiencies
- Perform ad hoc testing and walkthroughs where appropriate to test the design of existing controls
- Development and maintenance of a review program for the group's Internal Finance policies
- Development of key training materials
- Ad hoc projects
Profile
- Ideally qualified accountant
- Experience of working within a strong internal control background
- Experience of designing and improving internal controls
- Ideally experience of working with SOX or JOSX environment
- Experience of document/policy drafting and review processes
- Experience of preparing training materials (PowerPoint etc).
- Ability to interact with various stakeholders
- English speaker; additional language skills favoured
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Has experience working in an international group and a technical systems accounting environment
- Team player, relationship building approach
- Ability to challenge peers and superiors in a constructive and professional manner;
- Provide solutions to problems
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent MS Word and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results
- Additional language would be an advantage
