Job Details
Management Accountant position within a Tech company in Bedfordshire. This is the perfect role for a newly qualified accountant looking to develop a well rounded skill-set and build solid foundations in Analysis, Financial and Management Accounting.
Support the Financial Controller in developing a robust control environment whilst producing board packs and supporting with commercial analysis.

Description
- Analytical review of month end figures
- Identify areas for improvement in the reporting process and work with the Financial Controller to develop and implement changes
- Assist with monthly reporting and board pack preparation including KPI tracking and trend analysis
- Assist with the statutory reporting process where required including half and full year group reporting and external audit deliverables.
- Facilitate the preparation of the statutory accounts, and maintain audit compliant work-papers and technical accounting papers on selected accounts or areas
- Support the Financial Controller and other Finance Team members with the preparation of ad hoc commercial analysis
- Assist with relevant financial compliance activities such as VAT or CT returns
- Keep up to date with accounting standards to ensure compliance
