One Property Recruitment, specialists in block and estate management are searching for a Client Accountant for a position based near Luton. You will be managing a well-managed set of 15 accounts with the support from a wider finance team, comprising of smaller blocks and prime estates within Hertfordshire. This is a key portfolio of accounts which have been within the company for a number of years and therefore require a skilled leasehold service charge professional to maintain these presently warm relationships. The core duties of this position will include:-

• Working closely with the Block Managers in respect of producing and reviewing budgets

• Bank Reconciliations

• Raising service charge demands

• Complying with annual audit requests

• Setting up properties on the Propman system and updating as required

• Assisting with preparation for AGM's where required in a financial capacity

• Preparation of year end accounts

• Regular review of income, expenditure and cash flow on blocks

• Preparation of income/expenditure reports

• Liaising with stakeholders and responding to requests as needed

• Up to 2 years' service charge experience in a residential capacity

• Highly organised

• Experience using QUBE/Propman software

• Ability to build rapport with key clients

• Strong communicator both written and verbal
