RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant in Gaithersburg, MD. Financial Reporting Accountant Key Tasks:

• Financial reporting including public company filings
• Cash flow statement preparation
• IXBRL tagging review via Donnelley Active Disclosure Platform
• Accounting research
• Equity accounting
• Internal audit and SOX support via Workiva
• M&A support
• Analyze and understand financial information and summarize financial results for management
• Suggest ways to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Liaise with our accounting managers, Controllers, and internal and external audit

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Licensed or in the process of obtaining a CPA license
• 4 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of EPS calculations
• Strong knowledge of and experience with US GAAP and accounting operations
• Advanced in MS Excel (including formulas)
• Applicants must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Big 4 accounting experience, is a plus
