Job Details

This role provides support to the Head of Finance and is responsible for leading and managing all tax affairs (Direct and Indirect) of the Group and ensuring compliance obligations are met.

Client Details

Our client is a leading Global Consumer Brand


· Prepare and submit corporation tax returns and ensure that all entities comply with local laws

· Prepare tax disclosures for the consolidated group accounts based on IFRS for full year and

interim periods and based on FRS101 for the subsidiary statutory accounts including liaising with


· Preparation and submission of Group Corporate interest restriction return

· Liaising with auditors on all tax matters through the audit and reporting cycle

· Preparation of forecast corporation tax position and managing tax payments for all jurisdictions

· Managing HMRC relationship and be main point of contact with CCM

· Managing international taxation and withholding taxes, liaising with Franchise partners on WHT

matters and monitoring application of treaty rates

· Submitting applications for residency certificates and country specific documentation with HMRC

for the various tax jurisdiction do ensure the group can apply treaty rate on WHT

· Preparation of SAO declarations

· Liaising with external advisors to support CbCr reporting and internally preparing UK CbCr filing

· Preparation of CCO risk matrix and policy

· IR35 compliance and implementation/integration as part of the supplier set up process

· Preparation of RDEC claims with the assistance of external advisors

· Leading the Transfer Pricing and benchmarking study with external advisors

· Preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns and Intrastat declarations

· Advising on AEO/Customs warehouse related queries

· Leading Tax/VAT/Intrastat ERP implementation

· Working with the senior Finance team on Legal entity rationalisation

· Working directly with senior Finance team to improve and strengthen tax processes, proposing

automation of the tax accounting and tax compliance cycle and changing the mix of software


· Monitoring intergroup transactions to comply with transfer pricing policy

· Managing dividend and cash repatriation from foreign subsidiaries with assistance of local tax


· Monitoring tax risks and potential tax issues and managing tax investigations or audits in all


· Be the main point of contact/support within the group for all tax related matters

· Managing all adhoc tax related projects as they arise

· Assist with employment tax issues including the filing of annual employment related security


· Managing HMRC queries around UK payroll

· Managing overseas payroll taxes and ensure that all entities comply with local laws
