Full Charge Bookkeeper - Real Estate/Property Management Company

Areas the Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for:
  • Full cycle accounting
  • Large volume of daily balance reconciliations
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Financial statement preparation for each property
  • Justification of discrepancies
  • Accruals for utility, insurance, and interest
  • Reviewing and posting of A/P invoices
  • Calculate and review income expense accruals
  • Month-end close of each entity - general ledger, financial statement preparation, support schedules for each balance sheet account
  • Bank reconciliations and preparing and posting journal entries
  • Compare and explain monthly variances to the budget as well as trending analysis
  • Ad hoc duties


What the company is looking for in a Full Charge Bookkeeper:
  • 2 years of property accounting experience is a
  • MUST Yardi experience highly preferred!
  • Professional
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Detail oriented
