Areas the Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for:
- Full cycle accounting
- Large volume of daily balance reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Financial statement preparation for each property
- Justification of discrepancies
- Accruals for utility, insurance, and interest
- Reviewing and posting of A/P invoices
- Calculate and review income expense accruals
- Month-end close of each entity - general ledger, financial statement preparation, support schedules for each balance sheet account
- Bank reconciliations and preparing and posting journal entries
- Compare and explain monthly variances to the budget as well as trending analysis
- Ad hoc duties
What the company is looking for in a Full Charge Bookkeeper:
- 2 years of property accounting experience is a
- MUST Yardi experience highly preferred!
- Professional
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Detail oriented
