What the Senior Auditor will do:
- Work as part of a team responsible for all aspects of the audit engagement
- Perform detailed audit procedures on financial statement account balances, preparing and adjusting work papers from clients' trial balances
- Prepare work papers, financial statements, footnote disclosures and management letter comments in accordance with professional and firm standards
- Assist in planning the audit engagement including testing of internal controls and walkthroughs
- Become proficient at preparing financial statements
- Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners
- Ensure client compliance with applicable rules and regulations
What the company needs in a Senior Auditor:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 1+ years of financial statement audit experience
- CPA or anticipating pursuing the CPA
- Ability to work in team environment and exceptional analytical skills
