Overview
Summary:
The Procurement Business Analyst is responsible for collecting and interpreting data, transforming it into actionable insights which can offer ways to improve Procurement Operations, as well as business decisions across the organization. Will work closely with liaisons between multiple teams. Aids with the implementation and support of business information systems across multiple departments. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Act as the Procurement data subject matter expert for the organization. Develop and monitor Procurement-related KPIs and report to management on annual savings / avoidance, spend, PO compliance, project, SLAs and other metrics. Assist the Sourcing team to identify, pipeline, and goal set opportunities by helping create sourcing strategies for various business units backed by industry and spend data. Assist the Program Management team with Third Party Vendor Risk strategies backed by system(s) data. Act as a liaison for Procurement with various Finance groups including Accounts Payable, FP&A and Accounting as needed. Utilize data to assist in the direction and formulation of overall Procurement strategy. Identify ways to streamline and improve internal and external processes, metrics and reporting. Work between teams to ensure that processes are as complementary as possible and suggest changes as needed. Maintain up to date process documentation (process flows, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions) across the entire department. Support new department initiatives as necessary. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business OR related field.
- 4 Years Business Analyst Experience.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and reporting requirements as well as plenty of experience in forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis combined with understanding of key performance indicators.
- Experience working with senior decision makers
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills.
- Proven analytical background.
- Advanced Excel skills.
