Purchase Ledger Clerk | Temp to Perm | £11 per hour | Office Based
Your new company
Your new company is an up-and-coming construction firm, based in Haslingden, Rossendale. Due to continued growth and development, they are now seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a temporary basis, the role would be full-time and based from their offices 5 days per week.
Your new role
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you would report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for the full process of the AP department alongside supporting the wider finance team. Your role will involve processing purchase invoices, making sure they are inputted onto the system accurately. The system you will be working on is Sage 50. In addition to this, you will be responsible for tracking expenses, verifying new subcontractors with HMRC and you will be carrying out weekly payment runs and reconciliations. The role will be 8:30-5pm Monday to Thursday and 08:30 - 3pm on Fridays.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have proven experience in a similar role recently, ideally as a Purchase Ledger Clerk. You should be confident in working in a accurate and independent manner. Experience of working on Sage & CIS is highly preferable, however training will be provided.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered a temporary on-going position with the scope to become permanent if you display good performance. You will be offered a salary between £20,000 - £22,500. You will be offered Onsite parking alongside joining a friendly and supportive team!
