The Operations Finance Manager manages and leads all analytical activities and supporting operating mechanisms to include direct material spend, labour & overhead spend & inventory balance.
They are responsible for providing the Operations Leaders with actionable insights and analysis to define, measure and deliver world-class performance and productivity.

General Responsibilities
- Meets accounting operational standards by contributing financial information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Monitor and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting practices
- Meets accounting financial standards by providing accounting department annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions
- Maintains cash flow by monitoring bank balances and cash requirements; investing excess funds
- Approves cash disbursements by verifying check amounts against invoices, authorizing checks and wire transfers
- Approves ledger entries by auditing transactions
- Maintains financial security by adhering to internal controls
- Recruits, trains, schedules, coaches, and manages team to ensure priorities and deliverables are met
Experience / Qualifications
- A university degree and 7-10 years of experience
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
- Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Specific Experience

- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or equivalent is essential
- At least 2 years Financial planning and analysis experience gained in a manufacturing environment
- Experience of using Oracle EBS is an advantage
- Advanced Excel and modelling skills
Specific Responsibilities

- Leading all analytical activities and supporting operating mechanisms to include direct material spend, labour & overhead spend & inventory balance
- Providing the Operations Leaders with actionable insights and analysis to define, measure and deliver world-class performance and productivity
- Leading the annual standard cost update process ensuring timely & accurate cost rolls while harmonizing local convention to Sensata global frameworks
- Leading the preparation of all presentation materials for the annual operating plan and all forecasting work-streams
- Partnering with planning teams to model the optimal inventory levels and developing operating mechanisms to drive performance to established targets on balance, turns and cycle
- Ensuring inventory accuracy and transactional controllership for all material movements across the sites
- Connecting with operations, business unit, business finance and accounting departments for best finance support
