This position sits within the Internal Audit Operations team, which is a support function of the overall Internal Audit Department

Job Description

Working as part of the Resource Management Team (RMT) you will be responsible for the input and management of scheduling data. With a specific focus on attention to detail you will work collaboratively with all IA stakeholders to ensure the timely input of information into the scheduling systems.

As part of the RMT you will be a key point of contact to IA team. You will be required to build relationships with all IA stakeholders, and assist with queries. Each RMT team member is expected to be a strong advocate for data quality, and participate in global reporting initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement through the consideration/adoption of innovative solutions to drive process efficiency.

You should be a highly motivated individual contributor who also works well in a global team and a diverse environment.


Additional

Responsibilities:

  • Act as point of contact for stakeholders across IA function for queries related to scheduling input
  • Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results breaking down information in a systematic and communicable manner.
  • Demonstrates effective communication and diplomacy skills to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information.
  • Demonstrates attention to quality and timeliness of service to ensure the effectiveness of the team and group.
  • Continuous improvement of processes related to data quality and scheduling
  • Provides guidance on data entry principles to all IA stakeholders
  • Analyse factual information to make accurate judgments and recommendations focused on local operations and broader impacts.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in IA to understand pinch points and support solution implementation
  • Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders and management to enable smooth co-ordination of activities, as well as building strong knowledge to drive positive change within the control environment

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • Proven relevant experience
  • Ability to effectively use analytical, interpretive and problem solving techniques
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • A proven ability to operate in a manually intensive data environment
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and ensure timely delivery
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across different functions and time zones on any of the team's outputs
  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite is essential; specifically, advanced proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
  • SharePoint knowledge (development/creation of lists, document libraries, etc.),
  • Prior experience in financial or professional services is desirable
