The Role

Our client is flexible with taking on a Senior Auditor or a Supervisor with a strong accounting background. If you are looking to learn the audit side of accounting - this could be the right opportunity for you!

This team is working a bit differently to the other teams within the company, and they focus on both tax matters as well as audit. This is a varied and exciting role within a progressive player in the accounting industry.

Further Duties

• Execute audits for organisations at various size
• Develop audit strategies & drafting of audit plans
• Group audit instructions & documenting control environments
• Prepare & review of statutory financial reports
• Liaise with clients and prepare accounts, tax returns, FBT returns, BAS and other compliance matters
• Work with accounting programs, such as MYOB, Xero, CaseWare and APS

The Applicant

• 2+ years' experience in External Audit OR in Business Services & Tax
• A university degree in relevant field (Accounting, Finance or similar)
• CA/CPA in place or in the process of completing it
• Impeccable communication skills are essential for this role
• We are looking for a quick learner and someone who can think on their feet
