A leading furniture manufacturer situated in the South of Johannesburg is seeking to employ an accounting professional with a background in manufacturing and with Strong Accounting, Costing and Financial Reporting experience.

You will be responsible for:

· Day-to-day financial operations, including:

· Directly managing finance department employees

· Oversee the administrative processes in other operational departments

· Review, analyse and monitor operations, budgets and operating policies

· Continuous focus on system improvements

· Prepare budget and KPI measurements for all departments

· Stringent and detailed cash flow management

· Budgets and financial reporting to EXCO

· Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term planning

· Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company

· Manage annual financial audits

· Handle the company`s statutory activities

Boxes to tick

· Matric

· Accounting degree (CIMA advantageous)

· Strong experience in manufacturing environment

· 10 years+ experience in accounting role

· ERP administration (Syspro Advantageous)

· Good working knowledge of Bill of Materials, Work in progress

· Very strong Excel skills required
