Opportunity for an immediately available Accounts Receivable Officer to commence in a temporary assignment in the northern suburbs of Brisbane.
The Position

Our client is seeking the skills of an Accounts Receivable Officer to commence immediately in a full-time temporary assignment. In this role you will assist with the full accounts receivable process as well as testing of their newly implemented system. You will have the continued support of the larger finance team to drive efficiency in your accounts receivable function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily receipting and following up of outstanding receipts;
  • Preparing and processing invoices;
  • Processing credit note and write-off requests;
  • Undertaking debt recovery management;
  • Responding to all emails in the Accounts Receivable inbox;
  • Maintaining customer requests and updating the internal database;
  • Experience testing for a new system;
  • Liaising with external and internal customers to ensure that any debtor problems are rectified in an accurate and timely manner.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in an accounts receivable role in a busy environment where you have assisting with testing of a new system;
  • Ease in building and maintaining relationships with key business suppliers;
  • Experience using TechOne or EPICOR is advantageous;
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
