Citi Private Bank (CPB) offers a wide range of wealth management products and services such as Capital Markets and Discretionary products. As part of the Investments COO team, the role provides First List of Defense for the regional CPB EMEA investments business with supervisory and control activities. This is a critical role in ensuring timely regulatory reporting of Capital Markets transactions, monitoring and overall risk & control activities and BAU business managemen support of the Capital Markets team.


Responsibilities:

- Partner with relevant business units to improve regulatory reporting metrics
- Conduct root cause analysis of behaviors contributing to late regulatory reporting
- Engage with both regional and global stakeholders across various teams including Capital Markets Desk Heads, Business Risk and Control, and Technology for the assessment, enhancements and implementation of controls and processes that will contribute to timely regulatory reporting
- Implementation of detective tools that provide quality data for effective monitoring and testing with a focus on automation to drive effective results.
- Support BAU activities of the Capital Markets team: risk & control monitoring related to Dodd-Frank / EMIR regulation, monitor timeliness of desk head supervisory reviews, monitor client special pricing requests
- Provide business management support for Capital Markets business, including maintenance of Direct-to-Desk (D2D) gold list, monthly revenue reporting and annual D2D account reviews
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years relevant experience
- Required skills include quantitative aptitude, and the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate complex business issues through concise presentation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to oversee cross disciplinary work streams.
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, Masters degree preferred
