Our client, a blue-chip international consulting organization based in Johannesburg is urgently looking for a Tax Financial Services Manager to support the assurance practice on statutory audits and provide a wide range of consulting services to financial services industry clients.

*In order to be considered the following is required:*

* Relevant Tax qualification (BComm / Acc / Law)
* Qualified CA and Postgraduate studies in Tax desirable
* 3 years of Corporate Tax banking and/or insurance tax experience
* Tax audit experience and exposure to tax on other Financial Services clients would be highly desirable
* Knowledge and experience in application of the Income Tax Act
* Have commercial acumen and be driven to provide excellent client service
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work as part of dynamic team
* Attention to detail and the ability to follow-through on tasks
* Good interpersonal skills and professional skills
* Ability to perform in a high pressure environment and work towards deadlines
*Responsibilities:*

* Liaising with clients and colleagues to provide corporate tax consulting services
* Producing high level tax opinions and reports that add value to clients' businesses
* Performing tax reviews as part of statutory audits
* Attending to tax related queries from SARS
* Organising, monitoring and managing your own workload and you will be asked to assist Senior Managers on large groups and ad hoc projects
* Researching tax technical issues
* Cost, fee and debtors management, including WIP
* Management of own client portfolio
* Management of junior staff members
