Position: Assistant Manager-Indirect Taxation
Location:
Bangalore
Reporting to:Senior Manager-Taxation
Key responsibilities
- To ensure all GST compliances for Flipkart.
- To manage all tax notices, assessments, disputes and GST disputes
- To manage all VAT and CST assessments/ disputes
- To work closely with various stakeholders and business partners
Professional Qualification-Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant
Additional professional qualification (nice to have)-LLB, Company Secretary
Skill set required
- Expert knowledge GST and VAT laws and working knowledge in DT
- Thorough experience of extracting data from ERP and in-house tech systems
- Ability to work in high tech environment
- Very high standards of integrity and work ethics
Ideal past work experience:
- 2-4 years of post-qualification experience managing tax compliance in Big-4 or for large companies in India
