Your new role
My client is seeking an accomplished Bookkeeper / Finance Manager on a part time basis to work 3 days per week on a flexible hybrid basis. You will work as part of a small finance team, reporting to the Financial Controller. Duties will include maintenance of credit cards/expenses, end to end transactional finance (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable), VAT returns, reconciliations, full Management Accounts preparation including prepayments and journals, fixed assets, cashflow forecasting and budgeting.
What you'll need to succeed
This role will partner with multiple internal teams/individuals (including Project Managers, Accounts Managers, Account Directors) and therefore requires an individual who is accomplished at building strong working relationships at all levels. It is a varied role which fully supports the FC, a flexible and open approach is required. You will be a strong and confident communicator who is willing to roll your sleeves up and get the job done. Previous experience in a similar role and intermediate Excel skills (inclusive of VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables) is essential. Short notice period is highly advantageous.
