Our client is looking to recruit a Finance Director on an interim basis
Client Details
Our client is a SME in the FMCG sector
Description
The role will entail but will not be exclusive to:
- Manage the month end process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. This will include P&L analysis and full balance sheet reconciliations
- Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process to support the decision making process
- Ensure the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations covering accounting, tax, and other external reporting
- Working capital management and cash forecasting
- Build effective relationships to drive process improvements
- Assist the business with the implementation of a new accounting system
- Provide support across other functions in the company - HR, Procurement, etc
Profile
The successful candidate requires as a minimum:
- Qualified accountant, eg CIMA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent
- Experience working in the Manufacturing/FMCG sector is essential
- Experience of working in an entrepreneurial SME environment
- Team management experience
Due to the urgent nature candidates must be immediately available
Our client will also look at candidates who would be interested in 4 days a week
The role will be a mixture of home and office working so candidates must be able to travel to Kilmarnock
