Financial Controller

A Financial Controller job in Manchester responsible for financial management at this SME property developer.

Your new company
This real estate business prides itself on delivering an excellent full-service offering, from early phase planning and opportunity assessment through to the development, completion and management of residential properties across Manchester. The Group is well funded and have recently appointed new additions to the senior leadership team to support on technical residential development. You will be given large amounts of responsibility to lead a small team and work on new house building projects as the business portfolio continues to grow.

Your new role
Your Financial Controller role will report into the impressive senior management team and take a lead on all financial reporting for the Group's activities. This is a broad, hands on Financial Controller role managing a team of 3. Having successfully delivered on projects and with a healthy pipeline of upcoming residential, commercial and mixed use developments, they are looking to implement a sound and scalable reporting framework to support projected growth.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant and carry a naturally confident and professional demeanour to deal with a range of senior professional stakeholders in the office and out on site. With a lean organisation structure, you will have a broad understanding of the real estate industry, and particularly development and construction to demonstrate an understanding of the complexities across various projects.
