Job & Company Description:

One of South Africa's largest insurance entities with a rich history spanning across more than 60 years is looking for a CA(SA) to join their team within a Senior Financial Accountant role. The organisation boasts with a presence in more than 15 African countries through 4 main business offerings and have grown their client reach to over 3 million people. Within this Senior Financial Accountant role, you will take responsibility for managing the finance function, working closely with finance teams based in various African countries, audit engagements, developing initiatives that meet strategic goals, exco reporting, Financial Statement preparation, financial management, IFRS17 project work and much more.

Education:

• CA(SA) designation

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Minimum 3 - 4 years post article experience
• Experience gained within the insurance sector
• Knowledge / exposure in IFRS17
