Commercial Accountant / Management Accountant with Business Partnering

Your new company
Significant sized business with a deep footprint across the South West. This organisation are currently thriving and have long term (15+ years) service contracts in place.

Your new role
Reporting to head office as well as regional business operations leads this is a combination of finance business partnering alongside commercial management accounting, financial planning and analysis. This is a regional position that will allow you to play a significant role in shaping the future profitability of business units in Devon and Cornwall.

Your core duties will include :

- Production of Monthly management accounts and management information
- Monitoring operational performance, hosting and facilitating regular meetings with stakeholders
- Supporting non finance managers, providing finance expertise where required
- Assisting in the review budgets, forecasts and analysis of variances
- Implementing cost benefit initiatives
- Completing reporting to external bodies


The position would suit a finance professional that enjoys engaging with non-finance stakeholders. Influencing and building rapport with operational management will form a major part of your new job as will creating bespoke reporting to support commercial decisions in the business.


What you'll need to succeed
Prior experience of management accounting is a given as is a keen appetite to engage with non-finance management.
Ambitious and driven individuals, with prior experience in larger company settings, either part qualified of fully qualified are encouraged to apply.
Commercially minded candidates who are qualified by experience are also welcome as are applicants with experience in SME, who would like to move to a larger organisation.
Suitable applicants for the role will also need to be able to effectively communicate at all levels and be able to demonstrate good inter-personal skills.

What you'll get in return
A starting salary of £mid 30's with potential to progress, once you are established in the role.
Performance related bonus of up to 10% of salary.
Support and financial assistance to complete CIMA or ACCA, should you wish to continue your professional qualifications.
25 days holiday + bank holidays
Some remote working will also be included as will onsite parking, for days in the office.
