Finance Analyst

Temporary Contract opportunities for Part Qualified Accountants looking to work within financial services.

Your new company
Hays are delighted to be working alongside a leading financial services organisation, specifically with their office operating out of Edinburgh, to recruit for a couple of opportunities on a temporary contract basis. Both roles will sit within the core finance operations team and will be supporting the wider business with key analysis and reporting responsibilities.

Your new role
In your new role, you will be working as part of the larger core finance operations team to positively support in day to day responsibilities. These contract opportunities will include balance sheet reconciliations, monthly and quarterly reporting in line with IFRS and US GAAP as well as supporting in the month end close reporting. These roles will be working in collaboration with the wider team and both have a focus on supporting with the wider finance systems implementation programme taking place overtime.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in these roles, you will be a Part Qualified Accountant or actively looking to progress your studies in CIMA, ACCA or ACA. You will be confident in your ability to communicate financial information, from both a reporting and analysis perspective, to the wider business and key stakeholders. If you have previous experience operating within a financial services company or larger shared services environment, this will be of considerable advantage. The company are looking for finance professionals to start on short notice and these contracts will vary from three months to a year depending on the function.
