Experienced Finance Manager - Qualified - based near Sevenoaks - up to £60,000 DOE. - PAYE, SAGE, VAT

Finance Manager job based in Sevenoaks £50,000 to £60,000. Must have all round finance experience with recent Sage.
Your new role
You will be working for a busy, growing SME business based in the Sevenoaks area. The Finance Manager job is to look after the whole finance function. Initially you will be asked to attend the office to take over the finances with flexible working options available after this.
What you'll need to succeed
Maintaining accurate financial records in Sage 50 of two entities, Importing of data from another software (sales and purchase invoices). Managing and assisting with PAYE processes, VAT returns, supporting the transition to another finance platforms, dealing with multiple currencies, reconciling bank accounts on a weekly basis, entering customers' payments on a regular basis, maintain the fix ledger register, back-up for invoicing and payments processing, reporting, including quarterly, profit & loss / balance sheet details for the Bank, Internal Management Reports / Client Reports as and when needed / HMRC Intermediaries, preparing Year End Accounts details, assisting with audits as and when needed, weekly cashflow monitoring.
What you'll get in return
You will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), who enjoys working in the busy SME sector. Good all-round accounting experience with the ability manage a small team and drive the finance business unit. Experience in PAYE management and knowledge of Sage would be beneficial as would the ability to engage with key stakeholder both internally and externally. You may also be called in to help with other projects such as tenders & contract renewals.
