Purchase Ledger Assistant / Brighton / Accountancy & Finance

Client Details

A well respected Brighton employer is seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant on a permanent basis.


As Purchase Ledger Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices
  • Understand the chain of process of any account queries
  • Accurate processing of all payment runs
  • Migrate payments from Cheque to wires transfers
  • Reduce daily urgent payments to assist cash management
  • Perform regular statement reconciliation
  • Staff expenses


  • AAT qualified or studier
  • Knoledge of the accounts payable function to include high volume processing
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
