The role will project manage and partner with the business to deliver a variety of system enhancements.
Description
The SAP Finance Systems Manager will take a lead role in overseeing a number of system enhancements including an SAP upgrade from ECC to S/4Hana.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Training, coaching, and managing a small team of Systems Accountants
- Project managing and partnering with the business to support delivery on a range of system fixes, replacements, enhancements, and upgrades
- Ensuring financial systems (SAP-based estate) meets business requirements
- Identify, recommend and implement solutions to automate and enhance systems and processes
- Identify system risk issues, ensuring managed & mitigation plans are in place and communicated
- Building strong relationships across the business and with external IT contacts
- Providing technical guidance and training to users
- Flexible attitude and ability to rise to new challenges
- Managing master data, system access and day to day central operational processes
Profile
We welcome applications from candidates with the following:
- Past experience as a Finance Systems Manager or equivalent role (e.g. Systems Accountant)
- Strong SAP knowledge and experience (HFM and S/4Hana migration/implementation experience is preferred but not required)
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Business partnering skills in addition to strong written & verbal communication skills
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualification
