Job Details
The new Management Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day financial transactions for the UK subsidiary. As well as producing monthly management accounts and all the reconciliations and preparation and providing information for the audit of the Statutory financial statements.

Based in High Wycombe the client is a large international manufacturing business, they own some of the most recognisable brands in their sector.
Description
The key responsibilities of the new Management Accountant will be:
- Ensure accurate and timely production of the month-end management accounts for the UK subsidiary (includes P&L, Balance Sheet and cashflows).
- Produce Variance reports and analysis of the results.
- Liaise with department heads to follow up on variances and obtain explanations.
- Prepare monthly the GL reconciliations.
- Managing stock - ensuring all intercompany charges are made and that stock listings reconciled and reviewed for obsolescence/loss.
- Review and follow up on the AR & AP& Fixed Asset ledgers, liaising with the finance team.
- Focal point with the leasing company - for customer financing of capital equipment.
- Responsible for all the VAT, Sugar tax and statutory submissions for the UK subsidiary.
- Liaise with Auditors and prepare all the statutory reports and analysis for year-end reporting.
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting and tax regulations and legislation.
- Develop, maintain and improve systems and procedures to drive efficiencies in reporting and processing.
- Manage the planning, forecasting (quarterly) and budgeting exercises for the UK subsidiary.
- Ad hoc duties as required and instructed by the CFO.
Profile
The successful Management Accountant will be:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience of using accounting software package eg SAP, Netsuite, SAGE, SAP
- Experience of Reporting packages - eg Solution 7
Job Offer
On offer for the successful candidate is a salary of between £45,000 and £50,000 depending on experience as well as a healthy benefits package.
