One Property Recruitment, specialists within block and estate management are searching for a highly skilled Service Charge Accountant for a position based near Essex. Our client is a leading regional managing agent, who are seeking someone with experience using Qube preferably who has ideally managed a team before. Overseeing a small portfolio of accounts and a team of 4 Service Charge Accountants, you will be a natural and nurturing leader, who wants to progress their career in an open and very supportive environment. Your core duties will include:-

• Financial reports for clients on a monthly basis, including budget management

• End of year accounts

• Line managing the Service Charge Accounts team; 121's, KPIs

• Dealing with contractor payments

• Chasing arrears and liaising with solicitors where required

• Regular interaction with client both face to face and via phone/email

• Preparation of company invoices

This position would suit someone who enjoys the flexibility of working from home and can self-motivate effectively. You will be looking to join a growing business, and to quickly become an integral part of a vibrant and social team. I am looking for the following experience/attributes:-

• Proven leasehold service charge experience

• Proven team management experience

• Ideally ACCA/AAT/CIMA qualified

• Proven ability to build rapport with key clients

• Strong communicator
