Financial Controller

A Financial Controller role with a PE backed manufacturing company based near Heathrow.

Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will be responsible for production of the monthly management accounts, maintenance of internal financial compliance and controls and overseeing the finance department staff in their day-to-day operations.
You will act as a business partner to the other functions within the organisation, including sales, IT, technical, quality and production, taking a proactive and commercially minded approach to supporting the strategic sales growth initiatives of the business and ultimately the profitable development of the company.
As a member of the supervisory management team, you will have a wide-ranging remit to identify areas within the business for improvement and to implement positive change.



What you'll need to succeed
Accountancy Qualification
The ability to manage a small finance team working in a fast-paced commercial environment.
The ability to master new reporting and finance systems
Knowledge of UKGAAP and IFRS
Experience of a manufacturing business or stock management preferred
Use of SAP ERP system an advantage


What you'll get in return
Salary £60,000 - 65,000 depending on relevant experience
Bonus £5,000 -10,000 depending on company and individual performance
Manufacturing hours - Finish at lunchtime on Fridays
Pension: 6% employer contributions
