Due to growth within the business, our client now have a new opportunity available for a Trainee Management Accountant to join their team. This role offers great progression, study support and the opportunity to join a well-established Finance team.

Description

Reporting into and supporting the Financial Controller, the opportunity will give great exposure to the month end management accounts.

The position will take ownership and contribute to responsibilities such as bank reconciliations, prepayments, posting journals and accruals for example. Other duties include successful responsibility of the bookkeeping which will assist with the finance function.

Progression within the business will give scope to further finance aspects such as VAT returns and variance analysis etc.

Profile

• University Graduate ideally within an Finance or Accountancy related subject.
• Previous work experience placement is desirable but not essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritise workload with attention to detail in order to meet deadlines
• Fantastic customer service manner and ability to work under pressure

Job Offer

• £20,000 - £23,000 per annum
