The Company

This privately-owned, fast-growing technology company specialise in IT and business continuity solutions and have multiple international clients. They are based in the North Shore with an open-planed office that is close to public transport facilities. They have a friendly culture with a very hands-on approach embedded in the organisation. They are looking for an immediately available contract AP officer with potential to go permanent.

The Role

As the Accounts Payable officer, you will be reporting into the CFO and working in a wider team of six. You will be working on a varied role with your main focus on Accounts Payable. Your duties will include:

· Processing full function Accounts Payables

· Sole-charge capacity

· Matching and coding of complex invoices

· Monthly and ad-hoc payment runs

· Maintain customer accounts, and review schedules

· Reconciliations and queries

· Accruals and fixed asset management

· Month-end and ad-hoc reports

· Provide cover for Accounts Receivable as needed

· Ad-hoc duties as and when required

Your Profile

You will have at least three years' experience working in Accounting ideally in a similar position. You will have good accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a sole-charge capacity. You will need strong verbal communication skills and will have the ability and willingness to work within deadlines with the ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks.
