This is an exciting permanent role for a CIMA or ACCA studier with exposure to management accounts preparation. You'll be based in north Bristol with the option of fleixible home working twice a week.

Our client is a leading international company with a strong brand and reputation. Due to a busy period, they are now hiring for a Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis.

Description

The Management Accountant will be responsible for;

• Processing the month end close including posting accruals, prepayments and journals.
• Assist the Group Financial Controller with the preparation of the monthly accounts, reports and departmental reviews.
• Management of the Business Central accounting system (accounts payable and receivable and general ledger), with appropriate supervision and guidance to the finance team.
• Assist with the preparation of Group business plans, forecasts and function budgets.
• Daily monitoring of bank accounts and cash-flow management including sales ledger financing.
• Monthly review of the profit and loss accounts and periodic reconciliation of the balance sheet.
• Calculating monthly commissions and royalties payable, including verifying and reconciling payments to contracts.
• Processing year end close and assisting the Group Financial Controller with the preparation of the Group and legal entity year end accounts and financial statements. In addition, assisting the Group Financial controller with the audit.
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly Board Pack
• Completing statutory returns
• Business partnering other departments and the management team to support decisions and drive business performance.
• Developing new information and reporting processes as the business expands.

Profile

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts. An accountancy qualification isn't essential but ideally you'll be studying towards ACCA or CIMA

A salary of between £32,000 and £35,000 is on offer to the successful Management Accountant + study support
