Company Accountant

New Company Accountant role - Milford Haven area

Your new company

A well established successful SME manufacturing business are looking for a new Company Accountant - working for a finance experienced Managing Director.

Your new role

A hands on and very varied role where there is potential in time to get involved in areas outside of finance too. Duties will include:

*Daily bookkeeping duties to include bank reconciliation
*Preparation of monthly and year end accounts
*Preparation of Payroll data to be processed by an outside agency
*Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and managing PAYE Liabilities
*Credit Control
*Cashflow Management
*Liaise with suppliers and customers
*Willing to perform other tasks as needed

What you'll need to succeed

We are open to a local hands on qualified accountant or a strong QBE Accountant - someone who enjoys being really involved in a business and enjoys a good varied role

• To be a qualified Accountant or an experienced QBE Accountant
• To be highly numerate with strong IT skills - they use an ERP system and Excel spreadsheets
• Have strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
• To be self - motivated and able to work on your own initiative
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
