Description
The Assistant Accountant will be working as part of a team of c. 5 and will be working closely with the Management Accountant. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Supporting with the production of monthly management accounts
- Preparing of accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Posting of journals
- Assisting the Management Accountant with audit preparations
- Assisting with ad hoc analysis and project work
- Bank reconciliation for multi-currency accounts
- Sales ledger and invoice processing
- Credit control
- Payment runs and petty cash management
- Preparation of Intrastat return
Profile
To apply for this position, you:
- Must have experience of working in finance
- Must understand debits and credits
- Must have good Excel skills e.g. v look ups and pivot tables
- Will ideally be studying an accounting qualification e.g. AAT, CIMA or ACCA, but this is not essential
