Your new company
A fast-growth biotech company located in London are currently recruiting for the Finance department. A forward-thinking and innovative organisation, this is a really exciting time to join my client as they embark on a period of high-growth.

Your new role
This is a varied role supporting the CFO directly and managing the finance department for a pharmaceutical/bio-the business, you will be responsible for a wide area of tasks including the below:

• Preparing management accounts including budgeting and forecasting
• VAT returns
• Cash-flow forecasting
• Preparing financial reports for the Board
• Providing insightful financial support including analysis and advice to research project teams
• Supporting with preparation of statutory financial statements and working closely with auditors
• Supporting the preparation of corporation tax
• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders including 3rd party suppliers
• Proactively work to improve processes and controls across finance
• Work closely with the CFO on strategic areas including long-term planning, financial modelling and more
  
  
  What you'll need to succeed
  You will ideally be qualified accountant with an ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar qualification. This role will suit a confident individual who is comfortable business partnering with senior stakeholders and scientific colleagues and advising project managers on risks and opportunities. You will also have prior experience of working in a biotech/pharmaceutical environment and ideally have some experience in a fast growing, investor backed company.
