Job Details
The business analyst will support the Group's small central management team (CEO, CRO, CIO and FD) to manage and control the business. The role will report to the FD and work very closely with the CEO, CFO and CIO.
Client Details
This company are Europe's largest business in their sub-sector, spanning 8 European countries. They are private equity backed and operate a franchised and owned business model.
Description
- Analysis of monthly group results
- Preparation of quarterly board report
- Analysis required on potential acquisition targets
- Monitoring of recently acquired businesses
- Support group year-end process
- Ad-hoc analysis as and when required
- Manage Power BI models for the Europe team working
- Support development of new BI models
Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA)
- Experienced in management accounting and statutory account preparation
- Fluent French speaker as this is our latest country with a plan for a double digit number of acquisitions over the next 5 years
- Experience of acquisition will be advantageous
- Additional European languages advantageous
- Experience of budget preparation and analysis
- Some of experience of consolidated accounts
- Very strong system skills e.g., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience of working with Business Intelligence tools ideally Power BI
- Confident, able to work to tight deadlines
- Able to carry out analysis and be able to clearly present the results
- Able to travel and spend time in Europe
