My client is a well-known household brand in the hospitality industry. With multiple sites and multiple revenue streams, they have recently embarked on a change project. The organisation definitely has a great feel about it and now are looking for someone who can fit into their friendly team.
The Role
As the Management Accountant, you will work in a blended role of processing transactional right through to preparing the monthly managing accounts function. You will directly report through to the Finance Manager and work in a wider team of 6. This is a hands-on position where you will need to work to tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.

Duties
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare monthly GST returns
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts for sub-entities
- Assist in the development of a Credit Policy
- Develop SOPs for the lifecycle of all revenue transactions, identifying and implementing process improvements wherever possible
- Review daily revenue transactions, apply receipts, and process transactions
- Daily reconciliation of the direct credit clearing account
- Regularly review the aged receivable reports and chase overdue accounts
- Review credit applications
- Process customer refunds and credits as required
- Distribute monthly customer statements
- Monthly billing - high volume data
Skills & Experience
- You will have at least 2+ Years' experience as an Assistant Accountant with exposure to management accounts
- Experience in high volume transactional space, specifically Accounts Receivables
- Xero experience desirable and intermediate - advance excel e.g SumIF, Vlookups
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume, complex environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
