Job Details

This position will be responsible for all general ledger account entries and reconciliations and work directly with the Accounting Manager. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to monthly general ledger entries, job cost reconciliations, draw preparation assistance and tracking. This role will also assist in the establishing process improvements and system enhancements as required.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Preparation of journal entries for cash transactions and adjustments
• Preparation of financial statements
• Performing monthly balance sheet and income statement variance analysis
• Prepare documentation of external auditors and tax consultants
• Perform detailed project job cost to general ledger reconciliations monthly
• Prepare and maintain job cost reporting accuracy
• Prepare bank draw requests and draw funding management
• Review and track vendor lien releases
• Review bank reconciliations monthly
• Maintain fixed asset schedules
• Assist with accounting system enhancements
• Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by Manager

Qualifications:

• 5 + years accounting experience (1-2 year in senior accounting role preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to work in a leadership role and team environment.
• Experience in budget creation preferred.
• Thorough understanding of chart of accounts
• Knowledge of MRI
• Must be an outstanding communicator, and have established skills in accuracy and organization
• Demonstrated ability to support all other departments within the company and coordinate training
• and information sessions
• Real Estate Construction background preferred
