We are looking for an Jr Accountant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our finance team. Most importantly looking for somebody who thinks outside the box, understands how / why we do things the way they are done today and strives to make processes better. Individual who understands systems from the backend. If you have an Accounting degree and are interested in gaining experience with a growing company, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

Responsibilities

Handle month-end, quarter-end and year end closing
Monthly balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analysis, expense variances analysis and journal entry recording
Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations
Accounts Receivable
Assist with system upgrades
Cross train across multiple accounting functions

Skills

Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
Proficiency in Excel
Attention to detail and accuracy required
1-3 years experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with midlevel ERP system such as Great Plains, NetSuite or Intaact
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
