Description
As a Finance Business Partner, you will be required to provide a high-quality forecast, period end reporting and analysis service within a defined area of the business.Ensuring that directors and managers have timely, accurate and appropriate financial information to deliver financial purpose and action business choices. This is a pivotal role to help business leaders to drive financial accountability.

This Finance Business Partner role will suit a candidate with the following skills and experience:

- Ability to influence at all levels of the business
- Ability to identify and proactively solve problems
- Ability to forge successful & demanding relationships across the business
- Excellent presentation skills and an ability to explain complex financial issues to a non-financial audience
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent quantitative, methodical and financial modelling skills
Experience
- Significant experience in a commercial financial and planning environment including time spent in a methodical role in a similar size business
- Evidence of commercial acumen and able to demonstrate a broad based view of issues, events and actions and a perception of their longer term impact or wider implications
- Demonstrable ability to assess situations and appropriately prioritise key information and issues.
- Experience of rail or similar transport industry
