Job Details
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for completion of client engagements including but not limited to compilations, reviews, audits and tax compliance.
- Ability to prepare and review corporate, partnership, not for profit, payroll, sales tax and individual tax returns.
- Preparing client correspondences including recommendations, technical issues and responses to taxing authorities.
- Lead necessary tax and accounting research projects using appropriate resources and technology.
Qualifications:
- CPA certification or progress towards completion.
- Minimum 2 years public accounting / tax experience preferred.
- Accounting Degree from an accredited college/university.
- Proficiency in the taxation of corporations, partnerships, and other flow-through entities as well as a strong working knowledge in personal taxation.
- Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
(GAAP) and accounting procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial information.
- Build and manage client relationships.
