Senior Accountant - Great Plains Experience!
About the Company & Opportunity:
Our client is a nonprofit with a mission dedicated to assisting kids, families, and seniors across the DC region
This is a well-established organization founded in 1930
Location: Washington, DC (near NOMA Metro)
Our client needs assistance for the next 3+ months.
Position Overview :
Our client needs assistance due to the current workload.
Responsibilities:
Handling fixed assets in Great Plains - should know how to add an asset, depreciate it, retire it, reconcile, assets in process
Pre-paid reconciliations - must have attention to detail, make sure following pre-paid policies
Intercompany accounting tasks
Additional projects, as requested
Requirements:
3-5+ years of GL experience, experience with month end closings
Great Plains software experience is a must
Intermediate Excel skills
Nonprofit experience is a plus but not required
Degree is a plus but not required
Personality Fit:
Friendly
Willing to learn
Enthusiastic
Team player
