Our Client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Willoughby, OH.

Earn an hourly rate at this full time, temp-to-hire position. Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Job Description:

• Assist in billing, cash receipts and other accounting tasks as needed
• Monitor A/R aging and customer accounts to minimize past due accounts
• Perform Customer credit analysis
• Initiate collection calls, emails, faxes and letters
• Credit analysis
• Work with Circulation and Advertising Managers on escalating collection actions
• Distribute A/R aging reports and discuss issues with Circulation and Advertising Managers
• Use and maintain A/R collections module in Circulation and Advertising System(s)
• Perform Customer revenue and A/R trend analysis

• High School Degree or Equivalent (GED)
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems with some supervision
• Expected to take initiative to refine procedures
• Use tact and diplomacy in servicing the client and communicating with others and demonstrate ethical behavior
• Accounting process and controls knowledge
• Proficient in 10-key
• Demonstrated proficiency with PC tools such as electronic mail software, word processor, presentation software and spreadsheet
• software (Microsoft Outlook, MSWord, PowerPoint, and Excel preferred)
• Demonstrated knowledge of automated collections/Accounts Receivable/accounting systems preferred
