Our client are looking for an Intercompany Accountant to join the business on an interim basis for a minimum of 4 months. This is a great opportunity to work for a well known national organisation that are well known for training and up-skilling staff within their finance department.

Our well known client are rapidly growing and have a rare opportunity within the finance department for highly determined and meticulous individual to join the team on an interim basis. This will be part of a large finance team who are all motivated to achieve high results in their reporting. This will be reporting into a senior member of finance who is actively involved in the day to day running of the finance department.

Description

The duties of the intercompany accountant will be:

• Be seen as an expert on Intercompany Processes to deal with queries directed to the intercompany team, and ensure that any queries are resolved in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure clear understanding of the impact of intercompany transactions for the wider Finance team
• Responsible for the Budgeting & Forecasting of the Intercompany Balance Sheets with supporting analysis & commentary for inclusion in the annual Budget and monthly rolling plan submissions.
• Reconcile the intracompany trading position at month-end, correct any underlying accounting issues to resolve any differences
• Actively challenge existing processes for continuous improvements and identify areas for automation via process change or robotics

Profile

The successful candidate will be someone with intercompany experience or group reconciliations experience. You will need to be available to start work within 2 weeks. With the offices based in Luton this will be an ideal position for someone based locally.
