Radisys is looking for a Revenue Accountant to join our team. This role will work closely with the Accounting Manager to help perform revenue and royalty transactions for the organization. The ideal candidate is a driven problem solver, able to communicate technical accounting in an understandable way, while being able to work independently and juggle multiple priorities to meet deadlines.

Duties and responsibilities

• Monthly completion of revenue recognition
• Contract review to support revenue determination, including documenting complex revenue transactions
• Partner with GL accounting and contract management team to determine monthly revenue recognition and deferral
• Maintain key accounting documentation
• General Ledger Account Reconciliations
• Work closely with the Company’s auditors and other service providers regarding revenue, royalty, and intercompany accounting matters
• Review and suggest areas of improvement in process, policy, and internal control
• Help review key accounting risks and ways to mitigate those risks
• Participation and support of revenue recognition streamlining projects
• Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field
• Active CPA license or actively working on CPA license
• 2+ years related public accounting experience
• Experience with software revenue recognition and review of contracts
• Exposure in writing technical accounting memo’s
• Ability to continually reassess and identify process improvements, flexible mindset
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to write technical accounting memos
• Demonstrates attention to detail and excellent organization skills
• Proficient with MS Office tools
• Ability to work in a diverse team environment
