The Staff Accountant role:

Assist with the month-end close process : Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, analyze general ledger accounts, prepare monthly reports.
Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statements
Monitor compliance with GAAP and Company procedures.
Assist with the budget process.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications of the Staff Accountant

BS Accounting
1-3 years accounting experience
Proficient in MS Excel
