About the firm

u&u. Recruitment Partners are working with a mid-tier firm in Brisbane's CBD to assist with the recruitment of two Junior Accountants. The firm specialise in business services, SMSF and audit and have around 100 staff.

They are part of an international network however, the Brisbane office remains independent. They have a history of promoting staff from within and have a very low turnover. The training they provide their Graduate Accountants is outstanding and many of their current Managers and Directors started with the firm as a Graduate Accountant.

About the role

You will join a business services team with 2 Partners and 8 staff. You will work closely with your Manager who will assist you with your day to day duties as well as assist with your weekly training schedule.

• Weekly training
• Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for all entities
• Assist with tax planning
• Regular email and phone calls with clients

Requirements

Due to the nature of the role, we are only able to shortlist candidates who have some experience in an accounting firm preparing tax returns and financial statements for companies, trusts and partnerships.

• 6 months+ experience in an accounting firm
• Degree qualified
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability and confidence to build relationships with clients
