Job Purpose:

In executive in this job role assists managers to compile, develop, process, reconcile, analysis the various types of budgets of PSW including cost control, revenue trajectory, grants accounting, cash flows, scenario building, stress testing, critical thresholds, drivers with percentage delta impact, estimation, projection, forecast; together with service costing, project costing, throughput accounting ratios and breakeven analysis etc.

Besides adequate know-how to process routine accounting entries with IAS/IFRS classifications, like vouchers, payments, invoices, billings, reimbursements, disburse funds and periodic book entries like depreciation, amortization etc.

PSW will prefer a candidate with excellent creative and communication skills especially written; able to present complex ideas with brevity into few simple visuals, infographics, graphs, tables; power point presentation etc.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Written Reports & Presentations covering Budgets, Estimates, Projections, Scenarios
  • Communication, coordination, follow ups with departments for budget requirements
  • Reconcile with Annual Procurement Plan and PC-1
  • Monitoring of actual versus budget on monthly basis
  • Share variance analysis, identify deviations and reasons thereof
  • Liaison to identify corrective measures and its implementation
  • Develop and implement various budget tools not limited to MIS/ERP/EDWBI
  • Any other task assigned by management

Required Skillset:
  • PSW will prefer a candidate with excellent creative and communication skills especially written; able to present complex ideas with brevity into few simple visuals, infographics, graphs, tables; power point presentation etc.
  • Team collaboration for compiling budget data;
  • Analytical & Attention to details to relate the impact of one activity on others like increase in HR with housekeeping, logistic, equipment, office space, connectivity etc.
  • Adequate know how of various budgeting techniques, processes and tools by leveraging technology not limited to existing MIS/ERP/EDW/Bl
  • independent, self-initiator, organize to deliver on time
  • Besides, requisite knowledge of accounting and finance fundamentals with adequate practical understanding of taxation together with corporate, commercial, trade and regulatory laws.

Required Experience & Education:
  • ln case of professional certification fresh qualified with mandatory article ship from an accounting firm; and ln other cases three to four years (03-04) experience.
  • Preferably a Professional Certification like CA, ACCA, ICMA, CFA or Master Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics and other similar discipline.
