The Role Responsibilities
Strategy
This role works within the Client Lifecycle Design and Management (CLDM) Delivery team to support deliver the Standard Chartered/Global Business Services&rsquo mission/strategies
Business
Quality service to our clients and achieve regulatory compliance across the end-to-end client lifecycle, including coverage of AML, KYC, Tax, OTC reform and FM regulations.
Processes
The role requires detailed analysis, review, design, documentation of the impacted processes by a change initiative that can be driven as part of ongoing process improvements and enhancements in CLDM.
People and Talent
The Business Analyst will be part of a larger pool of offshore and onshore business analysis teams.
Risk Management
Performing Operational Risk Assessment and Business Impact Assessment as per SCB/GBS&rsquos policies
Governance
Adhering to change management standards and procedures, including documenting and capturing all project artefacts required by project governance
Regulatory & Business Conduct
Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct.
Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Other Responsibilities
Developing Business Requirement Document (BRD), establishing traceability to the business vision and objectives, acting as the primary SME for the relevant project
Managing the requirements from initiation to closure by working closely with business stakeholders, CLDM management and technology delivery teams
Ensuring requirements are specified in a manner suitable for the intended audience and are understandable and unambiguous
Stakeholder identification, analysis and management
Identifying and engaging different layers of stakeholders for different stages of project lifecycle
Obtaining stakeholder buy-in and signoff on business requirements
Creating business value through the solution proposed and implemented
Leading discussion with the project team to clearly identify results needed to achieve business goals and needs
Proactively suggesting process and system improvements which create sustainable business value
Adhering to change management standards and procedures, including documenting and capturing all project artefacts required by project governance
Performing Operational Risk Assessment and Business Impact Assessment
Planning and delivering training, process updates and communications
Reviewing FSDs, writing UAT test cases Coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), User Verification Testing (UVT), Dress Rehearsal (DR) and Go-Live activities
Design test scenarios, create test cases and test scripts &ndash positive as well as negative - to support the different scenarios
Ensure full test coverage of the requirements assigned to the analyst
Agree on the individual test script execution milestones with the UAT Lead
Ensure environment readiness before start of test script execution. Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve any environment issue well ahead of execution
Execute test scripts as per test plan and update test results and evidence
Provide regular updates on test execution progress to UAT Lead
Participate in UAT and defect tracking meetings
Highlight issues and defects identified during test execution to UAT Lead and other stakeholders.
Discuss defect priority in relevant defect calls and coordinate with BA, Development, Project Manager to ensure appropriate resolution
Be the advocate for the end users of the system
Be proactive and manage all deliverables within agreed timeframe
Highlight UAT risks and issues to UAT Lead
Maintain good relationship with all stakeholders
