The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO). The Model Governance & Analytics Platform (MGAPIT) has responsibility for delivering MRGR Hub, SAS platform and Apps, FICO Decision Central, Risk Analytics BI Portal and CBRM Portal.
The MRGR Business Analyst with a record of improving business operations and reducing costs through the innovative use of process, tools and technology. Delivering dozens of varied projects from planning to deployment both in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies by effectively collaborating, facilitating and leading. Capable of bringing overwhelming enthusiasm and awareness to projects, applying expert judgment to remove the impediments, keeping teams focused and delivering success in rapidly evolving and dynamic environments.
The Technical Business Analyst for MRG will lead the projects, partnering with the Business Partners to drive the successful delivery of programs and projects across the MRG portfolio.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Compile and report program and project status across MRG applications.
  • Work with huge sets of data from varied systems and stitch it together to derive meaningful information
  • Gather, understand and document business requirements (BRDs, Functional Specifications, etc.)
  • Work closely with the technology team to explain the requirements test the solution developed by them and also perform UAT in close coordination with Operations Leads
  • Interact with other Tech teams for inputs and enhancements to their systems
  • Managing the project end-to-end ensuring quality output within prescribed timelines
  • Communication of progress to senior management & timely escalation of issues
  • Apply current taxonomies in Clarity to maintain the quality of program/project reporting
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to achieve objectives of the function:
  • Liaise with technology and operations globally to understand potential re-use
  • Adherence to key control/regulatory/audit standards

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required Advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years Financial Services experience.
  • 7+ years Business Analyst experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of banking domain, application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Working proficiency in business analysis toolsets
  • In touch with industry-wide technology trends and best practices
  • Proficiency in one or more Banking Domains
  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
  • Independent and self-motivated.
  • Experience in Agile Methodology and scrum principles
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and to work independently agility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous hands on experience with application development and support
  • Previous experience communicating with vendor and or vendor management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships with senior management across business, technology and operations as well as across regions and lines of business.
  • Track record of building relationships across global organizations and operating through influence.
  • Proven results and experience with achieving goals, developing and implementing new strategies
